Our new and improved grounded barefoot-style Respire sandal features all the details you loved on our original model, plus several updates for enhanced fit and comfort, making them your ideal companion for wherever your adventures take you.

Using conductive grounding technology, Respire reconnects you with earth without needing to be barefoot.
 
Wide, thin and flexible (zero-drop), Respire is designed for a more natural style of movement. With a textured footbed, your feet feel stimulated as they move through nature.

FAQ

Q: Do your shoes fit true to size? Can I order my normal size?
As there are inconsistencies between different brands, it’s not always reliable to rely on ordering your usual size.  We’d always recommend using our Size Guide to check the fit and avoid unnecessary returns, especially as our barefoot-style shoes do fit slightly larger than other brands offering this kind of product.  Please read our other FAQs for more insight into sizing.

Q: I’m between sizes, which should I go for?
If you’re looking at our Recharge style we suggest going for the size up. 

On all other styles, we suggest going for the size down. 

Q: Are all your shoes the same sizing?
No, we have some different fits, so check the size chart that corresponds with the shoe you’re ordering.

Q: Is there a difference between the mens and womens sizing?
We have different size charts as the same shoes are considered different sizes between men and women in the US and Australia. The fit of both mens and womens shoes is the same. 

Q: How much room should I have in front of my toes? 
This is personal  preference, however we suggest between 5-10mm. A good way to check is to put on a pair of shoes that fit you well and assess the space you have on these. You can do this whilst wearing the shoes, or even slip the insole out and place your foot on them with your heel at the back and check the space you have in front of your toes. 

If checking the sandal size guide, please remember you’ll want space at the back of the footbed as well as the front.

Q: I don’t have a printer, what shall i do?
Not to worry, the next best thing is to stand against a wall and simply place your foot on a piece of paper and draw around it. Then to measure the length and ideally the width of your foot. Depending on preference, you’ll want around 5-10mm space in front of your toes, so check our size guide for the length that corresponds best with that. 

A good tip is to draw around your foot whilst wearing the kind of socks you’d intend to wear with the shoes you’re ordering.

Q: The size guide keeps cutting off part of the shape when printing, what shall I do?
If the top part of the page printed OK then you can still check the width is a good fit. To check the length, we’d suggest following the method described in "Q: I don’t have a printer, what shall i do?”
 
Q: The size guide isn’t printing to scale, what should I do?
Without the correct scale the size guide won’t be useful for sizing purposes, but it’s always handy to be able to assess the general shape. To check your size we’d suggest following the method described in "Q: I don’t have a printer, what shall i do?”
 
Q: Should my foot match the length mentioned in the size chart?
No, you will need some space in front of your shoes. We’d suggest 5-10mm depending on preference.

US Trade Policy

As you’re likely aware, the USA trade policy has recently changed to apply duty and tariffs on products supplied from overseas.

As a brand based in the United Kingdom, shipping from our local warehouse. this means purchases delivered into the USA will incur a 45% additional fee.

As a small brand, we unfortunately cannot absorb this full cost and maintain a sustainable business. However, we have taken action to lessen the cost faced by our valued customers.

Therefore, we have decided to significantly reduce our prices for the USA market which has two implications. Firstly, by reducing the retail price, the amount extra charged in duty and tariffs is less (as it’s based on a % of the cost), and secondly, by reducing our price we effectively absorb half of these extra costs.

Our goal is the create the healthiest shoes in the world and by implementing these changes and hopefully maintaining your support for our vision, we’ll be able to do this for many years to come.

The first sandals I’ve ever used

I’ve always been really picky about wearing sandals. I never thought I could wear a pair that even had that strap between the big toe and the second toe. Unfortunately, my feet are very sensitive, but these feel like I’m not even wearing shoes at all. Incredible. Thank you!

Being size 4+6E wide feet, I didn't hold out much hope for a good fit but they're absolutely fine. Wore them all day on Sunday at a beach do, walking back and forth through dunes, sand, car park and barely noticed I was wearing them. Totally satisfied purchaser.
