Wonderful!

I love these boots! No breaking-in was needed and very comfortable. I have quite narrow feet, thin at the in-step and heel, but with tight, careful lacing they fit well. I find the grounding effect wonderful! - What an amazing design!

Lovely Comfortable boots, but wear far too quickly.

I'd been looking for a zero drop walking boot for a while, having had various foot problems, including gout, which makes a boot with a lifted heel that directs pressure through the base of my toes rather uncomfortable. I'd tried a couple of other brands, but the issue with many of those is there isn't enough cushioning because of the low stack height. When I came across these boots, they looked ideal, with an above average stack height, but also zero drop and wide, so I bought a pair at the end of February.

I've used the boots almost daily for walking, in all weathers, and initially they were great, comfortable to wear and walk in, able to cope with the Scottish weather, but recently the advertised fantastic grip has started to fail. It's especially noticeable on tarmac paths - we have a steep uphill lane that can often be slippery in winter, but the boots now slip on there after a bit of rain. Looking at the sole of the boots, the tread has worn a lot around the ball of my foot, and this seems to be the source of the problem.

So in summary, they're really comfortable boots, but it's really frustrating that with the potentially slippery cliff paths we have here, I'm really going to need to replace them, less than five months after I bought them.

Breathability, foot feel

I did my first hike in the boots last weekend they performed well, could do with being a bit more breathability .

I’m used to vivo shoes, but they have proven not robust enough for my purposes. Your boots don’t have the foot feel, they are more a wide toe box,no drop shoe than a bare foot shoe. I’m happy with the quality and look forward to walking more miles in the season to come.

Good but

It’s a great sales pitch, and despite the month it took for the boots to soften enough around the ankles to wear without pain, I was sold on them for mid-range hacks on moderate dry terrain.
Only when I decided to do the toughest part of the SWC path in Devon, that they started to show limitations.
The fully waterproof claim, was debunked after the first day of some soft rain and heavily wet foliage. Feet soaking and therefore sore. Boots dried quickly overnight with some help from screwed up newspaper.
Next day the same problem, wet feet and more pain. Added to which the claimed good grip was countered every time I slipped on wet rock or shist, or loose scree. This made for a bit of a white knuckle ride down some v steep coves.
Super disappointed as these boots are a lovely foot fit and light as mousse. But won’t be using them again for serious terrain in even moderately wet conditions as the blisters are still healing.

Hi Mark, thanks a lot for your order, it's greatly appreciated. I'm pleased to hear of your positive experiences but surpsied and sorry to hear of he issues you experienced. If you contact us on returns@bahe.co we'll do our best to help find a solution.
