Welcome to the Bahé Pro Movement
Welcome to the Bahé Pro Movement, the hub where health professionals can access comprehensive educational resources that deepen their understanding of natural foot health and empower them to guide their clients through an informed transition to healthier feet.
the most advanced technology ever put into a shoe ...is the human foot
so why wear shoes that inhibit how your feet can feel and perform?
the problem with 'normal' shoes
Raised Heels
Lead to shortening of the Achilles tendon and calf muscles, disrupting posture and tipping the body forward, which can create additional misalignment. This can also increase strain on the knees and lower back over time
Narrow Toeboxes
Severely inhibit natural foot function by preventing the toes from articulating, splaying, and effectively absorbing load or generating force. They also reduce overall stability, making balance and proper gait patterns harder to maintain
Stiff Soles
Prevent the foot from moving naturally, leading to reduced foot strength and increased foot stiffness. They also reduce sensory feedback from the ground, making it harder for the body to react and adapt to changes in terrain
Toe Spring
Holds the toes in a lifted position, preventing proper articulation during the gait cycle. This stops the toes from engaging with the ground, reducing stability and the foot’s natural ability to load, balance and propel the body forwards
Bahé shoes allow your feet to move, spread and flex = natural movement, unlocked !

Rediscovering
natural movement
We didn’t evolve wearing shoes, yet over the last few centuries we’ve become accustomed to wearing footwear that is often stiff, narrow and excessively supportive and cushioned. In doing so, our foot function has been compromised.
By going barefoot, or wearing more natural footwear, we can re-strengthen, re-mobilise and truly re-discover our natural foot function and restore much of our body’s ability to move as it should.
benefits of barefoot shoes
Pairing barefoot or natural footwear with restorative exercises helps restore healthy mechanics and boost overall physical performance
Restored Posture
By having a flat sole our joints can return to natural alignment during rest and movement
Enhanced Flexibility
With flexible soles, our toes, ankles and hips can move through a greater range of motion
Improved Balance
Strengthening the arches of our feet, along with the rest of our body, naturally enhances balance
key features of barefoot shoes
Foot-shaped
Allowing your toes to spread naturally so they can absorb load properly and generate power more efficiently
Flexible
Enabling the 33 joints of the foot to move as they should, allowing correct foot function throughout the gait cycle
Zero drop
Restoring a more natural posture, allowing your body to align correctly and distribute load more effectively
