FAQ

Q: Do your shoes fit true to size? Can I order my normal size?

As there are inconsistencies between different brands, it’s not always reliable to rely on ordering your usual size. We’d always recommend using our Size Guide to check the fit and avoid unnecessary returns, especially as our barefoot-style shoes do fit slightly larger than other brands offering this kind of product. Please read our other FAQs for more insight into sizing.

Q: I’m between sizes, which should I go for?

If you’re looking at our Recharge style we suggest going for the size up.

On all other styles, we suggest going for the size down.

Q: Are all your shoes the same sizing?

No, we have some different fits, so check the size chart that corresponds with the shoe you’re ordering.

Q: Is there a difference between the mens and womens sizing?

We have different size charts as the same shoes are considered different sizes between men and women in the US and Australia. The fit of both mens and womens shoes is the same.

Q: How much room should I have in front of my toes?

This is personal preference, however we suggest between 5-10mm. A good way to check is to put on a pair of shoes that fit you well and assess the space you have on these. You can do this whilst wearing the shoes, or even slip the insole out and place your foot on them with your heel at the back and check the space you have in front of your toes.

If checking the sandal size guide, please remember you’ll want space at the back of the footbed as well as the front.

Q: I don’t have a printer, what shall i do?

Not to worry, the next best thing is to stand against a wall and simply place your foot on a piece of paper and draw around it. Then to measure the length and ideally the width of your foot. Depending on preference, you’ll want around 5-10mm space in front of your toes, so check our size guide for the length that corresponds best with that.

A good tip is to draw around your foot whilst wearing the kind of socks you’d intend to wear with the shoes you’re ordering.

Q: The size guide keeps cutting off part of the shape when printing, what shall I do?

If the top part of the page printed OK then you can still check the width is a good fit. To check the length, we’d suggest following the method described in

Q: The size guide isn’t printing to scale, what should I do?

Without the correct scale the size guide won’t be useful for sizing purposes, but it’s always handy to be able to assess the general shape. To check your size we’d suggest following the method described in.

Q: Should my foot match the length mentioned in the size chart?

No, you will need some space in front of your shoes. We’d suggest 5-10mm depending on preference.

Just what I’ve come to expect from Bahe! I love the dusky pink colour of my Revive barefoot shoe and the extra front width makes them supremely comfortable while knowing that they are grounding you too. The service is very friendly & professional and I would highly recommend.

Great shoes!

These shoes are just what I was looking for. Thanks to the printable size guide I got a perfect fit. I have super wide feet at the toe joint, and these shoes are a good fit, even wearing toe spacers. I also have a high volume foot, and by taking out the removable insole I got a good fit across the instep (and a slightly lower stack height, which I prefer). The shoes are soft and bendy, while giving a bit more protection for rougher terrain. I can't say I've noticed any grounding effects, but that may come with time. My first real life trial of them was on a warm summer day and my feet stayed reasonably cool. The delivery of the shoes was problem-free. My only very minor issue is that the material around the top edge of the shoe looks a bit plastic-y. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase!

Beautiful and healthy shoes

To be honest, I didnt believe to like them that much - but really, i'm very(!) satisfied with everything.
"The look" for a barefood shoe is really beautiful!
And the walking experience is what to expect from a barefoot shoe - but not that sensible! For my taste, just perfect! Love them so much. I will buy them again, for sure! ❤️🙏🏼 thanks for these beautiful shoes!

I was trying things out

Good:
- fit for my size (length and width)
- stylistic design, which doesn't look like a typical sports shoe

Bad:
- stiff material
- uncomfortable when walking - there is a bump when a shoe bends at the toes and this would create a blister in no time
- expensive return - it is discouraging to order again
