Love these sandals!

On my second pair, with the first still being fully functional (just a little beat up) after 2 summers of hiking / walking and wading in streams. Padding is great for really long days of walking, especially on hard surfaces like concrete sidewalks. I never get blisters either, a big plus. Also love how easy it is to adjust the straps.

I really love these sandals

I was looking for some good sandals for the beach and read a blog (can’t remember how I found it sorry) and took a chance. Glad I did. They look great and feel great. I’m going to be wearing these a lot. I’m not a mountain climber but can see that they are strong and comfortable enough go for that. Very adjustable. Even survived getting wet quite a few times. A great buy!

Great shape.

Firstly, I absolutely love the shape of of these sandals. They are perfect for my 10.4cm wide greek shape feet. I love all the room, and no over-hang. I spent ages poring over the size print outs. I like a 'snug' fit on my sandals (ie not much at the end beyond my toes) as I tend to trip easily! I couldn't quite decide between 2 - what I'd consider my regular shoe size and the one smaller. I decided the smaller of the 2 would work the best. I knew I was taking a gamble with the smaller size as the toe post would be very snug in my big toe webbing, but I don't mind that. And yes, it is very snug and it's ok. Possibly the bigger size might have worked better, not sure. I really appreciate the fastening options to get a good fit. I have minimal shoe bed at the end of my toes which is perfect for me. Unfortunately, my feet seem to have struggled to get used to these sandals - maybe as I'm used to very minimal sole thickness and these are quite chunky (but zero drop) in comparison and a lot less flexible (though still flexible). As primarily I wanted these for walking the streets (not much countryside with me) I thought the thicker sole would work well. But for me it doesn't seem to, and my feet have really ached and taken time to adjust. When I got out in the 'wild' they felt a lot better, moving better with my foot. The textured footbed I have also struggled to get used to - in general I love sensory things under my feet, but for some reason these irritated the end of my toes causing blisters. Not sure why! Perhaps a textured or plain footbed option might be nice? So, for now, these are not my go-to sandals as hoped, but more for the rugged occasional hike - which is actually better considering the grounding aspect of them (though I didn't really purchase for that reason). Maybe a couple of sole options - this one, and a thinner one? Love love love the shape though and the security of the fastening (I tend to slide around in these kind of toe post sandals, but not in this one).

Super Respire sandals

My Respire sandals are super comfortable…on arrival I popped them on an went of on a 6 mile hike. Comfortable, no rubbing or chaffing, nice snug fit so my feet weren’t sliding about as great adjustment straps. I have narrow feet….highly recommend them and already had compliments and queries as where they were from 🤩
